Lulu Guinness Consumer Promotion starts January

Handbags at the ready!

In January 2009 Mondottica, in conjunction with Lulu Guinness, will be launching their “You Can Never Have Too Many” marketing campaign. Running in parallel with Lulu Guinness’ own marketing strategy, the elements includes a consumer competition together with an integrated window campaign. To start the season Mondottica will be running a Golden Ticket style promotion.

From January onwards all Lulu Guinness optical and sunglass models supplied to independent customers will be accompanied by a Lulu Guinness, promotional scratch card.

There are 40 main prizes of Lulu Guinness Luxury handbags worth £195.00 each and 200 Lulu Guinness novelty compact mirrors which are supplied complete with their own decorated slip pouches and supplied in a Lulu Guinness branded box. In addition to the prizes, all tickets will offer a 10% discount on any purchases of Lulu Guinness bags and accessories that are made online.

To help promote the promotion to customers, Lulu Guinness have designed an eye-catching window banner, based on a vintage movie theme and will offer in-store showcards, illustrating the prize and offering further details of the competition. Mondottica are also offering to supply participating Practices with pre-printed appointment cards.

A range of press releases have also been created to help Practice Managers communicate the competition with their local media and main prizes will be sent to the Practice for the presentation to be held in store, furthering the opportunity for media coverage.

As a fun incentive, all Practices that host a winning customer will be entered into a prize draw and following the promotion, three Practices will pulled out of the hat and given the opportunity to send two staff members to have tea with Lulu Guinness at The Ritz.

The offer runs from January 1st  to August 31st 2009 and to ensure the window banner theme is refreshed, Mondottica will supply transparent window decals to celebrate key calendar dates throughout the promotional period.
