Contrary to many people’s expectations Perspective Opticians, winners of the “Opticians Independent of the year award”, report that, texting and emailing reminders is received with great approval by many senior patients.

 “Most people are switched on to the technology and even older patients are pretty forward thinking recognising that it is environmentally better,” said Dan Sanders, Optometrist Director of the upmarket Solihull practice.

Using an Optisoft system of practice management which has been welcomed by their seven staff they report that “The new system is very straightforward and is forward thinking, allowing for adjustments to how the practice is run.  Besides emailing and texting we are very pleased with the barcode system, the ability to integrate technology and we can see at a glance the situation with patients attending from the four terminals within the practice.
