Dispensing Software Cuts Out Human Error

Oxfordshire independent, Ideal Eyes has championed the Optisoft Entreprise Dispensing Module
That facilitates the all-in pricing system that the three-strong group likes to operate. 

Alan Jefferies, FBDO, Manager at the Botley practice, explained, “We have set the software to automatically select the default lenses of our preferred supplier.  This will not allow the dispenser to order lenses which are not available. The system is programmed with two price structures, one for reglazing and one for the complete package.  This saves so much effort each day and makes dispensing easier, particularly when we use locums.”

 “We are no longer spending time flicking through numerous lens catalogues.  The system has gone down very well with the dispensers.”  Alan believes the whole process appears more professional to his customers.
