Optisoft announce new on line dispensing catalogues

Online lens catalogues from the major suppliers, are now available free of charge via Optisoft Enterprise Edition’s Dispensing module, cutting practice administrative time, reducing errors and maximising every opportunity to dispense in a tightening market.

“We know that dispensing is the area of business that actually makes money and too many practices rely on out-of-date catalogues, and spend time searching for the right lens.  This new facility cuts out mistakes, saves time and makes the practice look very much more efficient.  After years of frustration it is the last great bastion of practice management IT to be conquered,” said Optisoft Managing Director, Keith Sheers.

Essilor, Hoya, Nikon, Norville, Rodenstock, Seiko, Shamir, Sola and Zeiss catalogues are now available at the click of a mouse.

“We all know that recall is the foundation to building a business but that dispensing is the key to practice growth. There is a real opportunity to add value here, with quantifiable results, particularly in a tough market,” added Keith.

“It will bring a major change to the way that practices operate as all information will be on the screen, reducing mistakes and with valuable time released to add value with prompted upgrades, tints and coatings,” he added.

Optisoft’s launch is not dependent on the practice using electronic ordering but the system is designed to automatically track for both electronic and manually placed orders.
