New Budget Progressive from Hoya

The perceived price barrier to dispensing progressive lenses, particularly to first time wearers, has been removed by Hoya with the launch of Amplitude.

“Amplitude is ideal for those patients who require a quality Hoya progressive design at a competitive price point,” said Steve Roberts, FBDO, Hoya Lens UK Product Manager.

Hoya’s new budget progressive offering also provides dispensers and patients alike with greater freedom of choice as it is available to order in two corridor lengths (11mm and 15mm) and across a range of Hoya’s lens materials, Eynoa 1.67, Eyas 1.60, PNX 1.53 and CR39 1.50. It can also be ordered with one of Hoya’s photochromic options and with the benefit of all Hoya’s award-winning coatings.

“Amplitude brings a smooth interaction between the distance and near portions, with easy adaptation and wide functional viewing zones. The performance is consistent across the power range and it is designed to fit into a wide range of frame styles - a dispenser’s delight,” added Steve.
