Game on at Rodenstock
Rodenstock has extended its contract to produce Wimbledon Eyewear under licence for another three years. Rodenstock say the agreement reflects the excellent working relationship between the two companies and the continuing success of the eyewear range in the UK.
Rodenstock Frame Product Manager Damien Klevge stated: “The extended contract means Rodenstock will manufacture Wimbledon Eyewear until 2015. We have seen a rise in demand from opticians and customers with both sunglasses and the Junior collection proving extremely popular.”
The Wimbledon brand is of course synonymous with the tennis tournament, and the umpires and line judges all wear Wimbledon sunglasses during the championships.
Damien added: “The excellent working partnership that we have with Wimbledon means we are looking forward to the years ahead with new launches and exciting promotions for both practices and the end consumer.”
