Support A Vision Charity

PHN offers Optical Practices demonstrating support for Vision Charities the chance to tell the Public online.

Each individual practice can now declare their support for a chosen one of a number of High Profile vision charities in the UK currently promoted on

“Vision charity Supporter” ,will become a searchable specialism among those listed in the Mylocaloptician on the “Find my Optician” search listing and if practices wish to provide a description of any event or promotion they are planning for their chosen  charity these will be highlighted and included in their enhanced entry. (100 chars max). An example enhanced entry is below:

The normal charge of £10 a month to market practices on the heavily visited site has been waived by PHN for practices supporting a listed vision charity or event and the initial one off publication charge has been reduced from £10 to £1 inc. VAT per each practice.

PHN will match this figure in a donation to the chosen listed charity fund. The fund will receive therefore £2 for every such supporter registered online.

The special charity promotion will allow practices 3 months free trial advertising to over 1000 members of the public per day and as well as flagging up their support for vision charities (highlighted as a specialism in the search box) they will also be able to select other vision specialisms their practice provides and highlight brands they sell in the products search box.

The sign up is easy. Just click on the Vision Charity Supporter banner at the top of PHN’s professional website and activate your enhanced listing with either a credit or debit card.  The enhanced listing will continue running at the standard cost after 3 months and can be cancelled at any time. Individual practices within groups need to register per each address.

After signing up, download the brands and specialities list, complete, enter details of any event or promotion you are planning, and choose your selected listed charities, then return to us, and this will populate your listing.

This is a great and simple way to show the public that your practice is supporting Vision Charities.
