SOS Launch new concept for stocking up your consulting rooms

June 2011

Sarah Farrant and Charles Greenwood of Specialised Ophthalmic Services – SOS - have launched a range of equipment packs and individual items designed to help community practitioners involved in providing additional services such as dry eye management and PEARS type schemes. The concept was based on the need for small quantities of supplies required to aid the delivery of the successful Somerset ACES scheme. The items available can be ordered individually or in tailored packs.

The dry eye pack contains everything you would need in practice to carry out dry eye assessments, syringing and punctal plugging, without the need for significant investment in vast quantities of stock. They start from £100.

The acute eye pack is designed to act as a resource for red eye and foreign body management and includes disposable tweezers, needles and PVA spears. They start from £65.
