Brulimar launches nerd-inspired high-fashion geek chique range

Brulimar Optical Group announces its debut Geek Chique collection, bringing the celebrity trend for Geek-inspired, vintage frames to the high street. Brulimar’s own-brand range, which incorporates nine new unisex frames, reflects eyewear styles dating right back to the late 50’s.

From 1950s Wayfarer-inspired designs to bold, angular eye shapes, the black and tortoise shell collection offers a classic, elegant, yet high-fashion look. A style that has been snapped up by celebrities across the globe, geek-inspired, horn-rimmed eyewear is the latest must-have accessory. Brulimar’s Geek Chique range offers accessible and affordable fashion eyewear for both men and women as seen on Scarlett Johansson, Lady Gaga and Tinie Tempah.

“We have seen a huge surge in demand for retro-style frames and the Geek Chique collection taps into the trend for nerd-inspired, high-fashion frames. The celebrity craze for geek chic eyewear, along with the catwalk and films, has really driven the popularity of these styles,” explains Howard Librae, managing director of Brulimar.

“Creating the collection involved delving into the Brulimar archives to give a modern twist to some of our most popular and abiding styles from the last 20 years,” adds Howard.
