Zoobug takes to catwalk for GKFW!

Success for new London fashion event British children’s eyewear specialists, Zoobug, official eyewear sponsor for the new Global Kids Fashion Week, took to the catwalk this week alongside some of the most exciting international fashion brands and emerging designers. In aid of Kids Company, the event was organized by leading online childrenswear fashion retailer, and attracted a fantastic audience of mums, dads, fashion press, childrenswear retailers and mini fashion fans.

Spring/summer 2013 trends

Zoobug catwalkOfficial eyewear sponsor at the event, Zoobug showed its Spring/Summer Sunglass collection during the SS 13 runway show on Wednesday alongside clothing collections by over 30 children’s brands including Mini-A-Ture, Chloe, Cavalli and Paul Smith Junior. Key trends included punchy flashes of green, orange and pink neon, on clothing and accessories, from sunglasses to laces; delicate prints, from florals to floaty sheers and pretty embroidered detail; bright colour blocked urban sportswear; and mini-me tailoring for boys.

Zoobug models featured on the runway included this year’s trendy round Sunny sunglass style in amber, the new Zoobug Aviator in neon brights including zesty yellow and orange, and the brand’s classic chic tortoiseshell optical style, the Ollie, a frame that has become one of the leading looks in Zoobug’s Italian–made optical collection this year. Zoobug’s Wayfarer was also featured in bright shades of fluo blue and pink.

GKFW Auction for Kids Company

Zoobug contributed to the charity wish tree auction in aid of Kids Company, with a unique pink version of the Sunny sunglasses, produced exclusively for the event.
