Inspecs announce new addition to brand portfolio
Inspecs are thrilled to announce a new long-term licence agreement with the original surf, snow and
youth lifestyle brand O’Neill.
The licence grants UK-based eyewear design house Inspecs the exclusive worldwide rights to design, manufacture and distribute ophthalmic, sunglass and snow-goggle collections under the O’Neill name.

The first collections, inspired by O’Neill’s proud California heritage, will be launched at international eyewear show Silmo this September. With styles for both men and women, the optical collection features styles in hand-finished acetates and metals. Colour-ways draw inspiration from O’Neill’s beachside origins and passion for the wilderness. The sunglass range includes both sporting and fashion-led styles for men and women, with lens options including polarised and mirror finishes.
The new collections will be in stock by the end of this year.
O’Neill, the original California surf, snow and youth lifestyle brand, was founded in 1952 when a young man named Jack O’Neill took his unstoppable passion for surfing and used it to beat Mother Nature at her own game. Pioneering the world’s first neoprene wetsuit, Jack had successfully found a way to extend his surf sessions in the bone-chilling breaks of Northern California. He opened up the garage doors to his first surf shop in Santa Cruz soon after.
