Rodenstock puts Porsche design customers in the driving seat
Rodenstock hosted a hospitality day for its leading Porsche Design stockists at the Silverstone racing circuit, where they were able to test-drive Porsches and discover more about the luxury eyewear brand.
Nearly 20 opticians from all over the UK visited the Porsche Driving Experience Centre and enjoyed the opportunity to drive the latest 911, Boxster and Cayman models on Porsche circuits specially-designed to simulate a range of driving conditions.
There were also many gasps of admiration when they were shown a freshly delivered £700,000 Porsche 918 Spyder, the company’s latest supercar to hit the roads. They went on to explore the Porsche Human Performance facility, equipped with state-of-the-art technology including a range of physiological testing, which helps provide understanding of driving-specific fitness levels.
Porsche Design and Rodenstock also delivered presentations detailing the latest advances and additions to the luxury eyewear collection. Guests got a look at the new, special edition Porsche Design projects, such as the Iconic One Piece, the Reading Tool Christmas special and the woman gift set.
